As founder and president of David Griffin & Company Realtors, Mr. Griffin has translated his early curiosity and his personable nature into a 25 year career in residential real estate. Since founding David Griffin & Company Realtors in 1982, David has directed the sale of almost $2 billion in residential real estate. His company has established itself as the leading broker in marketing intown neighborhoods. The firm has distinguished itself in being one of the few independently owned large residential real estate companies in Dallas and for marketing many of Dallas’ most architecturally significant homes. In 2007, David Griffin & Company posted a 48% increase in sales which out-paced all other local realtors according to the Dallas Business Journal.
Among Mr. Griffin’s civic accomplishments, he has served as Vice Chair of the Capital Campaign for the Friends of the Katy Trail, and has been on the board of The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture, the USA Film Festival and the Southwest Film Archives. He has also chaired numerous projects for the Dallas Parks Department and Preservation Dallas, including highly successful Mid-Century Modern & Regionalism tours. Mr. Griffin is a graduate of Highland Park High School and Southern Methodist University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. His hobbies and interests include studying Italian and architectural history; singing; painting, drawing and sculpting; reading; travel; running; and swimming.
